Oscar Woodiwiss is an illustrator with a penchant for the kitsch and camp; harbouring a particular fondness for the works of James Bidgood and Joe Brainard. Inspired by these late, great icons of queer sensuality, his own work explores the intimate vulnerability of gay and trans relationships. He is a self-proclaimed advocator for "trans indulgence" and would be flattered but regretfully declines to explain what that means. We have suspicions to believe he made it up on the spot to make his monthly trips to the local gp for testosterone sound vaguely revolutionary.
